1. Scope
1.1 These terms apply to all orders placed in our online shop by consumers (§ 13 BGB) and entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB).
1.2 Deviating terms of the customer are not recognized unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
1.3 The contract language is English.
2. Seller

3. Product
3.1 BlockZero is a physical collectible: a gold-plated coin with a Bitcoin motif, encased in acrylic. It contains no bitcoin or other crypto asset and gives no access to any digital asset.
3.2 The coin is not legal tender, not a security, not a financial product and not an investment. We make no promise about any future value or resale price.
3.3 The edition is limited to 1,000,000 pieces. Each piece carries its serial number. 3.4 Product images are illustrations; minor deviations in color or surface are possible.
4. Serial numbers
4.1 You may choose an available serial number on the product page.
4.2 When you start checkout, the chosen number is reserved for 60 minutes. If payment is not completed in time, the reservation ends and the number becomes available again.
4.3 A number is only guaranteed once your payment is confirmed. If a number is no longer available at checkout, we will inform you before payment.
5. Conclusion of contract
5.1 The products shown in the shop are not a binding offer but an invitation to order.
5.2 By completing checkout and payment, you submit a binding offer.
5.3 We accept your offer by sending an order confirmation by email, at the latest within 5 working days. The confirmation contains the order details and these terms.
6. Prices, taxes, duties
6.1 All prices are in US dollars and include shipping.

7. Payment
7.1 We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card and wallet payments (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay) are processed by Stripe; Bitcoin payments by NOWPayments.
7.2 Bitcoin: The BTC amount shown is based on the exchange rate at the time of the order and is reserved for the time window shown on the payment page. If payment is not made in time or not in full, the order may be canceled or repriced.
7.3 Bitcoin network fees are borne by the customer. A Bitcoin payment is complete once it has reached the confirmations required by NOWPayments.
7.4 We are not liable for payments sent to a wrong address or with insufficient network fees.
8. Delivery
8.1 We ship from Switzerland to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery times are estimates; see Shipping & Customs.
8.2 For consumers, the risk passes upon handover of the goods; for entrepreneurs, upon handover to the carrier.
9. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received; for Bitcoin, once the transaction is confirmed.
10. Returns and right of withdrawal
10.1 In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary 30-day return guarantee from delivery for unused items in original packaging (see Returns & Refunds). It does not limit your statutory rights.
10.2 Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (see the cancellation policy below).
10.3 Refunds are made with the payment method used. For Bitcoin payments, we refund the BTC amount actually received to a wallet address provided by the customer, minus unavoidable network fees. Exchange rate changes between purchase and refund are not compensated.
11. Warranty 11.1 Statutory warranty rights apply. 11.2 For entrepreneurs, the limitation period for defects is 12 months from the transfer of risk. 11.3 Please report visible transport damage to us promptly with photos. This is not a condition for your rights, but helps us resolve it quickly.
12. Liability 12.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. 12.2 For simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. 12.3 Nothing in our shop is financial or investment advice. Buying a BlockZero is a purchase of goods only.
13. Vouchers and promotional codes
Conditions follow from the respective promotion. Cash payout in fiat or BTC is excluded.
14. Affiliate program
Separate affiliate terms apply to partners. Fraudulent traffic, self-referrals or brand bidding can lead to exclusion.

16. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
17. Applicable law, place of jurisdiction
17.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
17.2 Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where they habitually reside.
17.3 If the customer is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the seller's place of business.
18. Severability
Should individual provisions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
Cancellation policy (consumers)
Right of withdrawal.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Chris Bächle, Bitcoin. Better Than Gold, Breite 10, 79713 Bad Säckingen, Germany, support@bitcoinbetterthangold.com) by a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email) of your decision to withdraw. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal.
If you withdraw from this contract, we reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your notice. We use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement. For Bitcoin payments, the reimbursement is made in BTC to a wallet address you specify. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You only pay for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.
